A Son's War
A Son's War is short film written and directed by Steven Edell, and produced with Rain Breaw, Ben Wilkins and Roman Kasparovsky.
The website serves a dual purpose:
The site provides updates to those interested in knowing where the film is screening and hearing about the awards and other news related to the film, including a subscription mailing list.
And the site also provides festivals and potential distributors with the electronic presskit, downloadable production stills at 300dpi, a downloadable trailer and more.
Built using Drupal 6, the site makes it easy for the filmmaker to add laurels and festival screenings without having to create new graphics, provides a view of upcoming screenings and archives past screenings automatically based on date, and allows visitors to subscribe to both a mailing list and a calendar.
